This video explores the impact of Carbon Offset programs and questions whether or not they really are the answer to the question “how do we stop global warming?”</p> <p>You’ll see some footage from a recent trip to India where locals are interviewed about the effects of carbon offset programs on their local communities. Big mines, big coal and big problems.</p> <p>My personal view is that we need more and more of this type of reporting. Knowledge like this is important to get a balanced picture of seemingly “win-win” answers to the problem of climate change. An adequate response to climate change will not be found in making a small number of people richer.
